“All Eyes On Me” nail art tutorial by NailGurl (NYC)
Hi everyone as you know I love giving you ladies a weekly dose of nail art tutorials in between my daily hectic schedule. So let us jump right into the “All Eyes On Me” which I featured on Instagram on Friday.
“What You Will Need” – Zoya “Dream” (ZP686), White nail lacquer (of any brand), Duri “Think Out Loud” 603, Black nail lacquer (of any brand), & light blue acrylic paint/polish
PLEASE NOTE: You can try using water based acrylic paint for the detail work.
1.) Paint the nail using Zoya “Dream” using a two coat application and let FULLY dry! Be sure that all ten fingers are fully dried before going in with the nail art!
2.) Create the horizontal caged weave effect using your selected white nail lacquer. To see how this effect is done, be sure to scroll down my Instagram page for help. Let your nails FULLY dry before going to the next step.
3.) Using your black nail lacquer create a snake like wave effect going diagonal across the nail bed. Work this effect until you reach the tip of the nail and let fully dry.
4.) Go over the “snake like” effect with Duri’s “Think Out Loud” shade (or selected shade), on top of the black pattern that was previously placed, and let fully dry!
5.) Apply using either acrylic paint or white polish your eye shapes going diagonal across the nail (let fully dry)
6.) Using a dotting tool or toothpick, choose a select shade of blue acrylic paint or polish to create the eye color (let dry), then go back over the eye color with black creating the pupil and let fully dry)
7.) Finish the look with your favorite topcoat or UV gel top coat and cure, and your look is complete.
